DC: Dark Legion adds Robin for Batman Day

FunPlus is introducing Robin, the younger Dick Grayson, to the roster of its mobile strategy title DC: Dark Legion in late September. The character's arrival coincides with the game's Batman Day celebrations, which feature a returning event called Echoes of the Batcave running from September 18th to 26th.

This marks the second version of Dick Grayson in the game, following the adult Nightwing who was added last summer. The developer's approach of adding the same character at different life stages is described by Pocket Gamer as a "cheeky way to expand a roster."

Echoes of the Batcave Returns

The Batman Day event, Echoes of the Batcave, is a repeat of the activity run during the 2025 celebrations. It features the same three minigames set within the Batcave environment. Players who completed it last year will find familiar content, with potential changes limited to the reward offerings.

The event structure involves players descending into the Batcave with the Bat-Family to complete activities. Successful participation yields in-game currencies, a Batman-themed profile frame, and a skin for the Wayne Tower base.

Event Activities and Rewards

The returning event comprises three distinct activities. Drop Target Drills is a pinball-style minigame featuring Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, Tim Drake, and Damian Wayne. Shadows and Secrets is a social activity where players exchange Batarangs with others. The final activity, Clank! Surprise, tasks players with using a Batscanner to complete objectives and unlock rewards progressively.

Pocket Gamer notes that while a recurring event may lack novelty, it has practical benefits. "A returning event is cheaper for everyone than a rushed new one," the source states. The publication frames the Robin addition as the core update, with the Batcave event serving as complementary content.

Assessing the New Recruit

With a new character entering the game's meta, players will need to evaluate Robin's effectiveness. The source directs players to consult its DC: Dark Legion tier list to determine if the character warrants investment or should remain on the bench.

Robin is scheduled to become available shortly after the Echoes of the Batcave event concludes on September 26th, though an exact release date was not provided. The source also recommends players redeem available promo codes while the Batman Day event is active.

DC: Dark Legion is available on iOS, Android, and PC.
