Gamescom Booth Spending Leaders

Tencent, Hoyoverse, and Arknights: Endfield had some of the most extravagant and expensive-looking booths at Gamescom.

Tencent, Hoyoverse, and Arknights: Endfield had some of the most extravagant and expensive-looking booths at Gamescom

Gamescom's halls are filled with extravagant exhibitor booths, with major spending likely led by Tencent as usual. The event showcases a mix of mobile, PC, and console titles across several key halls.

Hall 6: Mobile and Console Mix

Hoyoverse has a packed stand in Hall 6 following its prominent appearance in the Geoff Keighley-hosted Opening Night Live showcase. The space features new games Petit Planet and Honkai Nexus Anima, plus live titles Genshin Impact, Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. There is no mention of the newly-revealed Elden Ring-style game Nodus Fall, which may or may not come to mobile.

Next door is an over-the-top stand for Silver Palace, another large-scale Chinese RPG featured in the showcase. Ubisoft has a notably large and elaborate stand at the hall's entrance, possibly due to its new business partner Tencent. It sits opposite EA, which has a cool but less impactful staging for EA FC.

Aniimo, the FunPlus-backed cross-platform creature collector, also has a huge and brightly-lit stand here. The rest of the hall leans toward PC and console, including Nexon's Arc Raiders, Star Wars Galactic Racer, and The Blood of Dawnwalker. Even the large Level Infinite (Tencent) booth across the back wall mostly features PC and console fare. A giant tractor from Farming Simulator maker Giants is also present.

Hall 7: Tech Giants and Fortnite

Google Play's substantial stand is at the entrance to Hall 7, though it was not yet open on Wednesday morning. This marks the tech giant's biggest regional consumer push and first major Gamescom presence in a decade. It is situated next to Konami and a giant Sega stand.

Further in, Huawei has a big, bright stand for its AppGallery mobile store and Game Center tech. Epic Games is next door with a major presence for Fortnite's Override season, which appears to have some connection to Mercedes. Vodafone and Steelseries also have booths in this area.

NetEase presents a striking display for Sea of Remnants, alongside PC and console games Where Winds Meet and Marvel Rivals. Xbox occupies the entire back wall with console titles like Halo, Call of Duty, Gears, Fable, and Forza. There is no presence for King, Blizzard, Activision, or Bethesda's mobile games.

Hall 8: Arknights and Tencent Games

Hall 8, at the far end of the consumer section, houses a giant and loud Square Enix booth and CD Projekt's Witcher stand. Most notably, it features a truly enormous stand for Arknights: Endfield. This consists of a giant stage for hired cosplayers, expensive-looking character models, and numerous PCs for hands-on play, indicating Gryphline is not messing around.

Tencent Games, the mobile-focused label, has a stand here showcasing Honor of Kings World. Arena of Valor, Honor of Kings Ace, and Rust Mobile are also playable on bright, fun staging. Other companies in the hall include AMD, Republic of Gamers, and Philips.

Hall 9: Samsung, Nintendo, and Infold

Samsung promotes its Odyssey gaming monitors and Gaming Hub with a giant booth at the entrance to Hall 9. It is opposite Nintendo, which is showcasing Switch Sports Resort in a big way and, unusually, the new Call of Duty.

Lego has a beefy booth alongside Krafton and Rocketbeans.tv, the latter resembling a Rovio stand due to a frowning red mascot. Infold's lavish stand is split between elaborate fan experiences for Love and Deepspace and Infinity Nikki, attracting significant attention. Capcom occupies the far wall but has little mobile presence.
