Helldivers 2 Armored Democracy War Bond Launches September
Arrowhead and PlayStation announce the Armored Democracy premium War Bond for Helldivers 2, arriving September 22, 2026.

Arrowhead Game Studios and PlayStation have officially announced the next premium War Bond for Helldivers 2. Titled Armored Democracy, the content update will be available starting Tuesday, September 22, 2026. The arsenal is designed for high-intensity combat, introducing primary weapons with integrated shotguns, anti-tank drones, tactically beneficial capes, and, for the first time in a War Bond, exclusive aesthetic patterns for customizing squad tanks.
An Explosive Arsenal to Crush Anti-Democratic Resistance
The new deployable content offers various alternatives for close-quarters and ranged combat. It adds the Arbitrator AR-11 assault rifle with a built-in secondary shotgun, the Evictor GL-15 pump-action grenade launcher, and the Scorcher P-34 pistol, which fires fuel-powered adhesive phosphorus projectiles.
New tactical gear includes the Immolation G-8 grenade and the G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker, a smart drone that tracks the user before locking onto enemy armored vehicles to explode on impact. The update also brings the Light Megatank BFM-16 and Heavy Ironclad BFM-220 armor suits.
Both suits come equipped with the passive ability Brute Force Mitigation. This ability reduces damage from impacts or collisions by 30%, grants increased armor, and boosts resistance to being knocked down.
Boosters, Capes, and Vehicle Customization
Beyond firearms, the package introduces operational enhancements for team missions. It highlights the Integrated Fire Extinguishers booster for quickly putting out flames and the Extra EAT Allocation advantage. This advantage grants two free uses per mission of the Expendable Anti-Tank stratagem.
The offering is complemented by two new capes: the Rapid Evacuation Standard and the Armorer's Cloak. Also included are the Helmet Durability Check emote, the Armored Step title, and the first-ever tank camouflage patterns.
The patterns come in three variants: Glaucous Camouflage, Glacial Polymer, and Executive Onyx. This marks the initial inclusion of such vehicle customization options in a War Bond release.
