Pokémon TCG Pocket Launches Deluxe Pack: Mega Event
Pokémon TCG Pocket debuts the limited-time Deluxe Pack: Mega, guaranteeing high-rarity cards from classic B Series sets and introducing a new community

Pokémon TCG Pocket is launching a limited-time Deluxe Pack: Mega event with guaranteed high-rarity pulls. The event starts on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PDT and runs through October 29th, bringing back cards from the game's Mega Evolution era.
Each Deluxe Pack: Mega contains four cards. The author said, "out of the four cards in each pack, you're guaranteed to receive one of at least four-star rarity or higher." This guarantee applies to cards pulled from 11 past B series expansions, from Mega Rising to Team Rocket’s Ambition. The pack primarily consists of reprints with alternate artworks, offering new variants for players' collections.
Leading the set are powerful Mega Evolution cards like Mega Charizard X ex, Mega Altaria ex, and Mega Lucario ex. Returning fan favorites include Eevee, Charmeleon, Chingling, Roaring Moon, and the Copycat Trainer card. New two-star rarity cards with unique artwork for Mega Evolutions will also be revealed. Deluxe Packs function similarly to High Class Packs from the physical card game, providing a curated, premium collecting experience.
New Community Deck Feature
A new social tool arriving in October will let players view and copy others' decks. The community deck feature is designed to enhance player interaction and accessibility. It allows users to see which decks others are using and directly copy them to their own collection. This addition aims to help players experiment with new strategies and complete their Card Dex.
The author said, "the next major feature may make you rethink that. Because in October, a new community deck feature is set to be rolled out." This update represents a significant shift towards shared gameplay within the digital card game.
Returning Cards and Alternate Art
The Deluxe Pack: Mega event is a major opportunity for collectors. It offers another chance to collect cards from across the entire B Series, which represents the Mega Evolution era of Pokémon TCG Pocket. The expansion is specifically geared toward players looking to complete their B Series collection.
Alternate artwork versions of Full Art Copycat and Elesa Supporter cards were highlighted in the official trailer. The set includes reprints of Pokémon and Trainer cards from the following 11 B series sets:
The exact number of cards in the Deluxe Pack: Mega set, labeled B4b, has not been confirmed.
Major Game Updates
The introduction of the Deluxe Pack: Mega and the community deck feature coincides with other major changes to Pokémon TCG Pocket. The game is receiving a major new event and will see the retirement of some existing features. Players are directed to check the official site for more detailed information on these broader updates.
The community deck feature will roll out in October, allowing players to view and copy others' decks.
