Pre-registration is now open for PUBG Mobile Light. The streamlined spin-off from the popular battle royale is scheduled to launch in November, with closed beta testing planned for selected countries ahead of the global release.
The game will support cross-play with the main PUBG Mobile title. According to the source, its download size is under 1GB on Android and 2GB on iOS.
Upcoming Game Releases
The source report from MobileGamer.biz outlines a busy schedule of new titles. FunPlus's creature-collecting game, Aniimo, launches on PC and consoles on September 16, followed by its mobile release on September 23. Pre-registration is currently open.
Hoyoverse, the studio behind Genshin Impact, is preparing to release a cutesy life simulation game called Petit Planet. It is slated for a winter 2026 launch on mobile and PC.
Monster Hunter is coming to mobile devices in 2026. The title, Monster Hunter Outlanders, is being developed by Timi under license from Capcom. Pre-registration for the iOS and Android game is open now.
Further 2026 and 2027 Launches
NetEase has two major open-world projects in the pipeline. Sea of Remnants, an open-world roguelike RPG, is due on iOS, Android, PC, PS5, and Xbox in 2027. A global closed beta is set for December, with pre-registration open for mobile platforms. Another NetEase title, the anime-style action RPG Ananta, is scheduled for release on mobile, PS5, and Xbox on January 15, 2027.
Morefun Studios and Tencent are developing Roco Kingdom, a creature collector reminiscent of Pokémon and Palworld. A closed beta begins on October 27 for PC, iOS, and Android, with a full launch pencilled for late 2027. Pre-registration is available.
Silver Palace: House of Greed, a lavish fantasy action RPG, used a Gamescom slot to reveal a new multiplayer mode. It is coming to mobile, PC, and PS5, but the source states there is no release date yet.
Recent Global Launches
Several games have already launched worldwide. The chaotic open-world sandbox Wobbly Life arrived on iOS and Android on August 20. It brings the same content as the Steam version to mobile with no ads or subscriptions and is also playable via Google Play Games on PC.
Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle, a physics-based puzzle game from Rollic, was released globally on Android on August 21. Dogpile, a game built around walking your virtual dog, is out now on iOS, Android, and Switch in most countries, featuring a try-before-you-buy option on mobile.
Bonjour Snack Shop, a Korean street food-themed management game, is available worldwide on iOS and Android. Ultrapool, a pool game with customisable tables, is out now on Steam, iOS, and Android across most countries.
Closed Betas and a Rebirth
A closed beta test for Dungeons Arise, a voxel-art hack-and-slash RPG from Kakao and Tiny Fun, begins in September. The test will be exclusive to Android users in the US and Taiwan.
Heroic Legends, a hand-painted mobile MMO originally released in 2011, has been rebuilt from scratch. Now called Heroic Legends Reborn, it was redeveloped over two years by two brothers who played the original as kids. The source reports it has relaunched with the blessing and original artwork of the game's original creators. It launches free on iOS and Android on September 5, and pre-orders are live now.
